When traveling to Medjugorje, you should always have on mind visa requirements, if any. There were many cases where pilgrims decided to travel on their own, and were left at the border when they failed to show their valid visas and/or passports.

Bosnia and Herzegovina does not recognize passports issued by the Former Yugoslav Federation Republic which has red cover.
